Moving From Mental Health Awareness to Action

Over the course of the pandemic and in the face of numerous tragic and traumatic events in the past year, many students, families, educators, and others have experienced new mental health conditions, while others have had existing challenges exacerbated.

As we acknowledge Mental Health Awareness Month throughout the month of May, we also recognize the critical importance of taking action to address mental health issues. Schools in particular are uniquely-positioned to support and implement actions that address and promote positive mental health and well-being within classrooms and across school communities.

The resources compiled below include guidance, toolkits, and training resources to support school leaders, educators, and others as they take action to address mental health within their school communities.
