Shavuos at the Kollel was a truly uplifting experience, as the Kollel came alive with the vibrant sounds of Torah learning throughout the night. Men and boys filled the Beis Medrash, and chavrusah pairs learned with energy and passion until the early morning hours, creating an atmosphere charged with kedushah and connection.
Downstairs, engaging and insightful shiurim were delivered by the Rosh Kollel, along with Rabbi Yosef Franklin, Rabbi Mordechai Weis, Dr. David Weiss, Rabbi Avi Greenberg, and Rabbi Yehoshua Schechter. Special learning tracks ran throughout the night—one for middle school boys, led by Rabbi Dovie Steier, and another for elementary boys, guided by Rabbi Yitz Levi and Rabbi Yedidya Pollack.
The impact of the Kollel extended beyond 364 Montgomery, as members of our Yungeleit gave shiurim at the Sefardic Torah Center, spreading the light of Torah even further. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our generous sponsors for providing the delicious refreshments that kept everyone going through the night.
The women’s division was also vibrant. On the first day of Yom Tov, over 200 women and children attended a beautiful Shavuos morning Kiddush, highlighted by inspirational words from Dr. Shprintza Broner. On the second day of Yom Tov, the Rosh Kollel, Rabbi Biberfeld, delivered a thought-provoking afternoon shiur for the women.
To conclude Yom Tov on a high note, a special Neilas Hachag for men was held at the Kollel, featuring a festive seudah, divrei Torah, and uplifting singing and dancing.
To experience this vibrant Torah atmosphere throughout the year, we warmly invite you to visit the Kollel Beis Medrash on any evening. To arrange a weekly chavrusah with one of the Kollel rebbeim, please contact Rabbi Yosef Prupas at 610-618-9949.
