As part of the HRBT Expansion Project, construction crews will implement weekly lane closures, detours and traffic pacing on local roads, I-64 and the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds and detours in some areas. Lane closures, detours and traffic pacing are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.

NOTE: Check the project webpage often for the latest updates to the weekly lane closures.

• Multiple stoppages on I-64 east at Mallory Street from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. 
• Each stoppage may last up to 20 minutes.

• Flagging at 1st View Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monday, January 6 through Thursday, January 9

• Single lane closure on I-64 east at Willoughby Bridge from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Single lane closure on I-64 east at West Bay Ave to Oastes Creek from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Single lane closure on I-64 west at Oastes Creek from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Wednesday, January 8 through Thursday, January 9

• Detour at W. Bay Avenue on-ramp to I-64 east from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. CLICK HERE for detour map.

Friday, January 3 through Friday, January 10 (24 hours per day)
