As part of the HRBT Expansion Project, construction crews will implement weekly lane closures, detours and traffic pacing on local roads, I-64 and the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds and detours in some areas. Lane closure, detours and traffic pacing are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.

Monday, June 17 to Tuesday, June 18

  • Flagging operation at Mallory Street Bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Thursday, June 20 to Friday, June 21

  • Flagging operation on Mallory Street Bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Overnight Lane Closures and Detours

Monday, June 17 to Tuesday, June 18

  • Flagging operation on Mallory Street Bridge from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Single lane closure on I-64 east/west at Mallory Street from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Multiple stoppages on I-64 west at Mallory Street from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Each stoppage may last up to 10 minutes.


Wednesday, June 19

  • Single lane closure on I-64 east at Mallory Street from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

 

Thursday, June 20

  • Flagging operation on Mallory Street Bridge from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • Single lane closure on I-64 east at Willoughby Bay Bridge from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Single lane closure on I-64 east from W. Bay Avenue to Oastes Creek from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.


Friday, June 21

  • Single lane closure on I-64 east at Willoughby Bay Bridge from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Single lane closure on I-64 east from Bayview Street to Oastes Creek from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Single lane closure on I-64 west from Granby Street to Patrol Road from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Flagging operation on 1st View Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
