As part of the HRBT Expansion Project, construction crews will implement weekly lane closures, detours and traffic pacing on local roads, I-64 and the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds and detours in some areas. Lane closure, detours and traffic pacing are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.

• Multiple stoppages on I-64 east at Mallory Street from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
•  Each stoppage may last up to 20 minutes.
• Single lane closure on I-64 west at Mallory Street from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Tuesday, April 2 to Thursday, April 4

• Single lane closure on I-64 east at Mallory Street from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Thursday, April 4

• Single lane closure on I-64 east from Oastes Creek Bridge to Patrol Road from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Flagging operation on Patrol Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Friday, April 5

• Single lane closure on I-64 east/west at Willoughby Bay Bridge from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Single lane closure on I-64 east from Oastes Creek Bridge to Patrol Road from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Flagging operation on Patrol Road from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Motorists should expect delays or take alternate routes. As always, motorists are encouraged to slow down, eliminate distractions and pay careful attention while driving through the construction zone.
