As part of the HRBT Expansion Project, construction crews will implement weekly lane closures, detours and traffic pacing on local roads, I-64 and the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds and detours in some areas. Lane closures, detours and traffic pacing are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.

• Detour at Mallory St on-ramp to I-64 east from 12 a.m. to 3 a.m.
• Detour at I-64 west off-ramp to Mallory St (Exit 268) from 12 a.m. to 3 a.m.

Thursday, October 16

• Multiple stoppages on I-64 east at HRBT from 10 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Each stoppage may last up to 20 minutes.

• Single lane closure on I-64 east/west at Willoughby Bay Bridge from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Detour on I-64 east off-ramp to 4th View St (273) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists are advised to use West Ocean View/Willoughby Spit Exit 272.
• Single lane closure on I-64 east from 4th View St to West Bay Ave from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Multiple stoppages on I-64 east from 4th View St to West Bay Ave from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Each stoppage may last up to 20 minutes.
• Single lane closure on I-64 west from Patrol Rd to West Bay Ave from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
