As part of the HRBT Expansion Project, construction crews will implement weekly lane closures, detours and traffic pacing on local roads, I-64 and the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds and detours in some areas. Lane closures, detours and traffic pacing are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.

Friday, September 26

• Single lane closure on I-64 west from Hampton Shore to Mallory St from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Monday, September 29 and Tuesday, September 30

• Multiple stoppages on I-64 east at Mallory St from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Each stoppage may last up to 20 minutes.

• Single lane closure on I-64 east at 4th View St 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Single lane closure on I-64 east at Willoughby Bay Bridge from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Single lane closure on I-64 west from Willoughby Bay Bridge to 13th View St from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Detour of I-64 east off-ramp to 4th View St from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Friday, October 3

• Single lane closure on I-64 east/west at Willoughby Bay Bridge from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Single lane closure on I-64 east/west between Patrol Rd and West Bay Ave from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Single lane closure on I-64 west at 13th View St from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Single lane closure on I-64 east at 4th View St from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Motorists should expect delays or take alternate routes. As always, motorists are encouraged to slow down, eliminate distractions and pay careful attention while driving through construction zones.
