BELLE CHASSE, LA. - The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announces the following nighttime lane closures on LA 23 to install vehicle detection loops at the Burmaster intersection.
Work will occur between 9 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. each night.
As always, these anticipated impacts are weather permitting and subject to potential changes.
Weekly Lookahead: 6/16/25 to 6/19/25
Monday 6/16
- Southbound left turn onto Burmaster and northbound left turn into bulb-out.
Tuesday 6/17
- Southbound alternating closures between Timber Ridge St and Burmaster St.
Wednesday 6/18
- Northbound outside lane and southbound inside lane between Timber Ridge St and Burmaster St.
