Meet with the Program Coordinator

Hello Class Leaders and Master Trainers!

As we approach the first official day of Spring and recover after "springing forward" last weekend, I hope that this newsletter finds you and yours well.

I am excited to announce that beginning March 20, 2024, I will be holding an office hour via Zoom to support our class leaders, master trainers, and organizational staff with any questions or concerns.

On Wednesdays, from 10-11 a.m. CST, join me via Zoom if you have any questions or concerns that you'd like to talk through.

Please use this Zoom link to meet with me. This link will remain the same every week.

Note: The waiting room feature will be in effect so you can meet confidentially, one-on-one with me during this time. This may result in slight delays.

If that time doesn't work for you, I can always be reached via email (ptcaregivers@iastate.edu). I aim to answer all emails within 24 hours if the message is received during the work week.

Make Sure to Report Class Series and Class Leader Training Information to Headquarters

Please remember to continue reporting all class series and class leader trainings to PTC Headquarters. You can report upcoming class series and completed class series through the PTC website.

For Master Trainers planning on conducting a Class Leader Training, all training information must be reported to PTC Headquarters at least three weeks before the state of the Class Leader Training. Please use the Class Leader Training Confirmation Form to enter the information.

Accepting Master Trainer Applications

The 2024 dates for Master Trainer training have been set. We are accepting applications for both 2024 Master Trainer Training events.

The planned 2024 Master Trainer Training events will take place on:

- April 17, 2024; 10 a.m.-12 p.m. CST

- September 20, 2024; 11 a.m.-1 p.m. CST

If interested, please review the requirements for becoming a PTC Master Trainer. If you qualify and would like to join us as a Master Trainer in 2024, please fill out the Master Trainer application form.

Class Leader material can be accessed through the I SU Extension Store (see note below) and the PTC Website.

Review the Class Leader How-To Guide for step-by-step instructions for accessing PTC materials.
Find additional Class Leader resources on the PTC website, including event promotion and marketing materials
Order copies of The Caregiver Helpbook for any upcoming caregiver class series through the ISU Extension Store.

Master Trainer

Master Trainer materials can be accessed through the ISU Extension Store (see note below) and the PTC Website.

Review the Master Trainer How-To Guide for step-by-step instructions for accessing PTC materials.
Find additional Master Trainer resources on our website, including event promotion and marketing materials
Order new copies of The Caregiver Helpbook for any upcoming Class Leader Training through the ISU Extension Store.

Note: When you set up your ISU Extension Store account, be sure to use the primary email address that PTC uses to contact you. You must be logged in to your account to access the materials.
