Come Over October

Now is the time to start making plans to showcase Come Over October.

Read about it here and then list your October events, invitations and party ideas, on our calendar including the callout #ComeOverOctober

This is an important message for the industry to share to wine buyers across the country. We need to be united in our message of wine being a way to bring friends together, to enhance a meal, to celebrate. We can't chip away month by month and endure Dry January, Sober October....

This is your livelihood - what do YOU love about wine? Talk about it.

We sent a robust CA Wine Month email to our subscribers to highlight all of YOUR events in September.

If you are doing something special this month, its not too late to add it to our event calendar. We will be showcasing CA Wine Month via our social posts for the next few weeks. Be sure to use this hashtag in your event posts #CaliforniaWineMonth TAG us @thewineroad and we will share your posts.

We shot about 10 new short videos for social posts, to promote Walk-Ins Welcome, Find Your Fun (on our event calendar), Harvest Wine Trail, Wine Road Ambassadors and Insiders. You should see those starting to pop up on your social feeds soon, so help us spread the word by sharing them.

We have about 3 winery members (out of 130), who always tag us in their social media posts, so we share those posts. IF you were to tag us @thewineroad, we would be happy to share your posts too! Also include #sipsonoma #wineroadlife

We have sold 600 tickets. Goal 2000.

We have a 1/2 page ad in Hemisphere's Mag for the month of Sept. (United Airlines).

The event was be featured in our subscriber newsletter last week. A dedicated event email will go out Sept. 26th.

In the meantime, participating wineries now have the tool kit to promote this event, so please share in your newsletters and on your social platforms.

Sonoma Magazine is on board as our Presenting Media Sponsor.

Debbie is currently in the process if editing a multi- page program that will be printed for the event.

Event Participation & Dues

If you are participating in Wine & Food Affair, and you have not yet paid your assessment...now's the time.

You need to make arrangements for a partial payment, in order for us to include you in the printed program.

At this point - 20 event wineries have not yet paid. This is a problem for obvious reasons. Happy to arrange a 2 or 3 payment plan - but we need a plan. beth@wineroad.com
