Weekly Member Memo - Aug. 6, 2025

Annual Membership Renewals Are Due Now

You are the Wine Road - our members! The more members we have, the more programs we can offer. There is strength in numbers.

Now is the time to renew your membership.

This year the Board has created a few different options to pay.

Map Deliveries

We have been hitting the pavement this week delivering maps to all of our members, along with some new map holders.

We really want to SEE those maps on display at every tasting room, coffee shop, gift shop, hotel etc, in wine country.

Customers should see Wine Road everywhere, so they know we are the "go to" resource when they are planning their wine tasting adventures.

2026 will be the 50th anniversary of Wine Road. Imagine how many maps have been distributed over the years. We ARE the go to map!

Sip Into The Weekend

By now participating wineries should have one of these posters.

We also mailed posters to our lodging members, visitor centers and other local businesses to help us spread the word.

I will be sending a poll to the participating wineries to see if you want to continue to "Sip into the Weekend" through September.

Tickets Go On Sale Tomorrow.

Sign-up is done for this event.

For the Harvest Wine Trail,

wineries will offer some sort of fun, "only during harvest" type of opportunity and have three wines for attendees to sample.

We have mailed or delivered Wine Trail posters and postcard to participating wineries, our lodging members and local visitor centers.

We have wrapped-up the sign-up for

Wine & Food Affair

We are thrilled to have 50 wineries on board!

If you have already signed-up, you have until August 20th to upload your compete recipe.

Wineries are reimbursed up to $1000 for the food costs for this event.

We plan to have your took kit and some postcards and signs to you by Aug. 25th - tickets on sale Aug. 27th for Insiders, 28th for the public.

Responsible Beverage Service

We are working with Jerry Jolly to provide the Training via his online course.

We have paid for 50 people to take this course - each person will have to pay the $3. fee to the state, in order to register. Instructions in the links. There are now 16 spaces left.
