We are thrilled to say that we now have just over

300 AMBASSADORS!

That is so cool :-)

About 100 winery employees, frequent visitors from across the country, Somms, wine educators and locals have all "earned the pin".

Big News for Team Wine Road (Liana, Debbie, Beth)

We are saving our rent money and working from home.

Debbie and Liana are already there, and I will be working about 50% from home and 50% from a smaller (free) office space (same building). The "map box" is still there.

This will be a BIG savings for us, which we will put toward our new website and other marketing plans.

This is where YOU come in...the three of us need to meet every Thursday morning at 10:00am for about an hour. We'd love to meet at a different winery every week.

We don't need anything from you, other than a place to sit, and the wi-fi connection, so we can have our weekly office update. We can meet in the tasting room, in the cellar, on the patio. Then we'll take photos of where we're at and share what's new at the winery on the Wine Road social pages.

We rarely get out to meet with our members, so we hope this is a bonus for all of us. We are excited!

This is an important message for the industry to share to wine buyers across the country. We need to be united in our message of wine being a way to bring friends together, to enhance a meal, to celebrate. We can't chip away month by month and endure Dry January, Sober October....

This is your livelihood - what do YOU love about wine? Talk about it.

We just shot 10 short videos for social posts, to promote:

When you see those on your social feeds, help us spread the word

by commenting and sharing them.

We have about 3 winery members (out of 130), who always tag us in their social media posts, so we share those posts. IF you were to tag us @thewineroad, we would be happy to share your posts too! Also include #sipsonoma #wineroadlife

We have sold 780 tickets. Goal 2000.

We have a 1/2 page ad in Hemisphere's Mag for the month of Sept. (United Airlines).

A dedicated event email will go out Sept. 26th.

In the meantime, participating wineries now have the tool kit to promote this event, so please share in your newsletters and on your social platforms.

Sonoma Magazine is on board as our Presenting Media Sponsor.

Debbie is currently in the process if editing a multi- page program that will be printed for the event.

Wineries will receive a bundle of the event postcard this week - to help spread the word.
