Dear Lakeside Community,
Fifth Grade Promotion Wednesday June 7, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.
The last full week of school for the 2016/17 school year is over!
"A picture is worth a thousand words". See the variety of pictures from this week's activities below. What a fantastic mountain community.
A week filled with Open House, Vocal Performance and the capper today, Spirit Day. A big thank you to Kathy McKinney, Lakeside alumni and all of the parent volunteers who helped with the games. A special thank you to those who prepared the wonderful BBQ. Thank you to Ms. Karim for joining the Lakeside family for our fun-filled Spirit Day.
Also included in this e-blast is a quick note from Lakeside's Principal for the Day, Alexandra Buchowski.
Lately in the 4th grade classroom students have bean presenting their California State project. Some of these projects are the Golden Gate, Alcatraz, and Monterey Bay Aquarium. In the kindergarten class they have been growing silkworms. The silkworms are making cacoons everywhere. Each class is doing very interesting end of the year projects. On Wednesday all of the Lakeside students had no homework. The students had their last day of STEAM class (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Science) with Mrs. Grear.
Enjoy your weekend.
Ms. Alexandra Buchowski
Principal for the Day
