This coming Sunday is Pentecost, the fiftieth day of Easter, and we keep the resurrection of Christ by celebrating the Spirit of the risen Christ in our midst. Jesus Christ has not gone away but is here with us: we stand to greet him and hear his words in the gospel reading, and we share in his body in the meal.

PreK Summer Festival is Saturday! Join us for some summer kick-off fun! We can always use some help! If you can volunteer or have a pop-up tent, contact Alyssa at prekdirector@phlc.org.

Father’s Day Card Sale: Our Father's Day card sale will support the Mars Home for Youth’s new supportive kindergarten program. Honor the special persons in your life while supporting others in need. Cards will be on sale for a $5 donation following the service through June 8. Father's Day honor and remembrance list will be posted on June 15.

North Hills Refugee Ministry: NHRM is working with the local resettlement agency, JFCS, to assist refugees who are already in the area and need some extra help acclimating to their new home. NHRM is always looking for volunteers to meet with and help refugees in our area. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Jane Hein or Melinda Geiger. Read our latest NHRM update.
