SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE MAY 1, 2022
Pastor Rob Preaches Do you Love Me?
We all betray Jesus. What transpires with Peter and the rest on the beach after the resurrection can be us. We all want to go back to a way of living before Jesus got a hold of us. Sometime we can be successful in our efforts (or at least we think we are) and then Jesus comes to get us back. When he does, Jesus wants to know do you love me?

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.
The Lorax by Dr. Seuss
Thank you to Pastor Lisa, Pastor Rob and Ella, Sharon, Alex, Scott, Mike, the Choir, Julie, Lori and Debbie for a worship service that gave praise to God for the beauty of the earth through music, images, story and message and reminded us all that we are stewards of what God has provided.
Thank you to all who participated in the Earth Sunday event afterwards and helped with distribution of rummage sale items and Styrofoam. Thank you for your donations for plants, mesh bags, reusable straws, and cloths to help fund the Hesed House Garden. $287 has been raised so far!
Thank you to the Rummage Team for working so hard to keep more items out of the landfills.
Thank you to those who helped to plant 500 native oak trees in Elburn.
Your participation shows that UMCG truly does “care a whole awful lot.”
The Creation Care Team
Look for more stories that will post on the Creation Care board in the upcoming weeks.
