THE WEEKLY MISSIVE
June 13, 2025

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
Dear Friends,
This weekend, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. Our gospel reading ends with an emphasis on the fact that the Holy Spirit will reveal not a new truth but the same truth that Jesus himself has revealed. On this Trinity Sunday, we celebrate the Father, Son, and Spirit, who share the same truth: God is love. The Son has revealed the Father's love, and the Spirit has continued to teach this revelation through the centuries.
In the coming weeks and months, our community will begin a much-anticipated Pastoral Planning Process. It will be a time of deep listening and honest discernment—a time to ask: Who are we? Where is the Spirit leading us? How are we being called to respond more faithfully to the needs of our time? We will be invited to emerge from our own “upper rooms,” placing our faith and trust in the Spirit who emboldened the first disciples and who stirs within and around us today. More detailed information will be available beginning this weekend about the process. Your prayerful engagement and participation will be essential.
As a reminder, we have entered our double-bulletin summer schedule. Still, we will continue to send our weekly Friday missive updated with the latest happenings and information, especially regarding our pastoral planning process.
We wish you all dreamy summer days as we slow down to take in this beautiful season in New England.

Juneteenth - June 19
Juneteenth (June 19) is a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Deriving its name from combining June and nineteenth, it is celebrated on the anniversary of the order issued by Major General Gordon Granger on June 19, 1865, proclaiming freedom for slaves in Texas.
Please join our Racial Justice Advocacy Group in our fight for racial justice by praying and joining one of the events on this flyer:
https://www.paulistcenter.org/wp-content/uploads/Juneteenth2025.pdf
The Paulist Center offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. There will be no 12:00 pm Mass that day.
