Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year

Howard Thurman's poem The Work of Christmas is often shared at this time of year - and it remains poignant and relevant every year. We hope you will pray with these words throughout the Christmas season.

The Work of Christmas

When the song of the angels is stilled,

When the star in the sky is gone,

When the kings and princes are home,

When the shepherds are back with their flock,

The work of Christmas begins:

To find the lost,

To heal the broken,

To feed the hungry,

To release the prisoner,

To rebuild the nations,

To bring peace among others,

To make music in the heart.

- Howard Thurman

We wish you Peace and the blessings of the Christ child, Word made Incarnate, this Christmas and New Year. We are grateful to be celebrating and journeying with you.
