Focus Time
Beginning March 9, 2025 students who do not complete their Focus Time will be ineligible for one full week. Focus Time data will be emailed out every two weeks and students will have two weeks to complete the minutes earned with a max of 200 minutes. Our email will show you what minutes were earned and how many of those minutes were served.
Our primary goal with Focus Time is not to overwhelm students but to provide a reasonable opportunity for them to reflect on and address the reasons they earned this time. It’s important that students use this time constructively to correct any behaviors that led to their earning of Focus Time.

Action Item: Grandparents Mass 2025: Parents, Please RSVP by 3/13
Xavier will be holding our Annual Grandparents Mass on Friday, April 25 at 1:00 PM. All grandparents are invited to attend the Mass with their grandchild(ren). Once again, we are asking parents to RSVP the total number of grandparents attending for your child. We will then mail them an invitation with the details, but grandparents will not need to RSVP themselves. Even if your grandparents cannot attend in person, please complete this form so that we may send them information about how to find the mass online and thank them for their support.
Once you have a total number of attendees determined, please click here to RSVP for them by Thursday, March 13th. If you have any that are uncertain, please add them as a "yes". We'd rather plan for too many than too few!

Conferences / Saint Shop Hours on March 6th
Parent-teacher conferences will take place on Thursday, March 6th from 4:00-7:00 PM. These will be walk-in conferences, no appointment needed.
The Saint Shop will be closed during school hours on March 6th and will instead be open after school and during conferences from 3:00-7:00 PM.
If you would like a conference with Mr. Murray, please stop by the Saint Shop.

6th Annual Mattress Fundraiser
Xavier High School is hosting our 6th Annual Mattress Fundraiser on Saturday, April 5th, from 10am - 5pm. Please consider stopping by! Not only will you get a great deal, but you’ll also sleep better knowing your purchase supports the Band, Choir, Robotics & BPA Students.

Register for Spring Activities/Sports on Bound
Any student planning on participating in an activity (fine arts, athletics or clubs) at Xavier High School this spring must be registered on Bound. Please register now for all activities you plan to participate in this year so that we can provide communication to you prior to the season.

Go to www.gobound.com/ia/schools/xavier, then Sign In, and click on “Registration”.
- If your student is interested in participating in multiple activities, please register them for each activity.
- If your student is considering participating in athletics or cheer, parents must also upload a Physical, and electronically sign a Concussion and Permission/Release Form via Bound. All physicals will now be uploaded through this process – paper forms will not be accepted in the XHS Activities Office. You will not need to print a form elsewhere.

PowerSchool Registration for 2025/26 Due March 1st for Priority Enrollment
PowerSchool Registration is now available for all returning Xavier Catholic Schools families. With growing enrollment, your attention to these forms is important in securing your child’s spot for the 25-26 school year. The date and time of received registration materials will be used in situations where capacity limits enrollment.
In order for enrollment to be considered complete, all Power School Enrollment Express forms must be submitted and/or accepted (yellow and green leaves will indicate these statuses). Deadline to complete the registration process is March 1, 2025 for priority enrollment. After March 1, 2025 all registration materials are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
We are excited for the 2025-2026 registration season, and we look forward to answering any questions you have during the registration process.

Senior Photos Deadline
Seniors Photos for the yearbook will be due April 4th and can be emailed to Lauren Phillips at lauren.phillips@crxcs.org
Students should be in appropriate attire with no baseball caps.
