Happy Easter!

On behalf of our students, faculty and staff at Xavier High School, we wish you a very happy and blessed Easter!

News and Updates...

Attendance as the Year Winds Down

As we get close to the end of the year, and particularly close to finals for seniors, we ask for your help in doing all that you can to ensure that your students make every effort to attend classes throughout the remainder of the semester. While it may be difficult to decline a request from your student, particularly a senior student, to "call in" for them, we ask that you help us maintain a sense of academic purpose.

Despite what your student may tell you, there is no school approved "skip day" at any time during the year. We count on your partnership with us and on your integrity when faced with those requests from your students.

As a reminder, students must arrive by 10:00 am and remain in school in order to participate in or attend any co-curricular activities scheduled for the same day.

Absences due to medical appointments require a note with time and date of appointment from the doctor's office upon the student's return.

Thanks for all you do to help us ensure that your students stay focused on their studies!

Grandparent Mass Information

Friday, April 25 we will be celebrating Grandparents Mass at Xavier. Mass and the livestream will begin at 1:00 PM. The stream can be viewed at XavierSaints.org/Grandparents.

For grandparents attending in-person, parking is available in the lot west of the high school, or in the lot on the south side of the building (facing 42nd Street).

School day reminders:

  • This is a regular dress code day.
  • Students leaving with their grandparents will be dismissed after Mass. Remaining students will return to House briefly in order to allow grandparents to exit safely.
  • Please be sure to notify your students in advance if their grandparents are planning to attend so that they may be ready to greet them and sit together.

There will be no reserved student parking on Friday in order to accommodate over 500 grandparents. Students may park in the East lot (Activities) and on 42nd St.
