Pastors' Weekly Message: From Pastor Pat

Greetings All!

This has been a busy time in the life of our church. Even with the restraints and burden of the pandemic and other events, we have continued to share Christ’s light with the world. We are preparing to experience our first indoor in-person worship since March as we celebrate with thanksgiving the lives of those who have crossed from earth to eternity.
A part of our witness includes attending to the administrative responsibilities of our church.

To that end we have decided two very important matters; our building project and our identity as a reconciling congregation. We have also needed to examine our financial well-being and what we hope to accomplish within the coming year. For that we offer the opportunity for you to hear from our Finance Chairperson, Grey Emmons, our incoming Church Council Chairperson Bill Butz, and myself as we gathered for a “Let’s Talk About…” segment. (The video will be available at stpaulsk.org soon!)

We have also just concluded our annual church charge conference where we affirmed all that God has done within St. Paul’s in this year, as well as approved those who will serve in leadership.

While each day brings new opportunities we continue “to press toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus,” the calling that beckons us to keep serving, keep sharing, keep living our witness in a way that brings God glory. Let the work that we do, be a pleasing offering to God.

May it be so.
