From Your Chamber Director

We've got a lot of things brewing at the Chamber this month, so this newsletter is jam-packed!

First up, we have an open board position! Our board works hard to bring so many amazing events to our community and brainstorm ways to improve the Chamber and life for Mulvane businesses. We are looking forward to receiving nominations.

I also want to personally invite you to join me at Chamber After Hours on Thursday, July 27 from 4 - 6 PM at Empire Tacos! If you haven't had a chance to meet me or mingle with other members, this is a great opportunity! We will have some door prizes, drink specials and delicious appetizers available. I hope to see you there!

Thank you Ticia!

The Mulvane Chamber of Commerce wants to wish Ticia Herd good luck on her next journey in Garden City! Ticia has been a long-time member of the Chamber Board of Directors, serving in multiple positions over the years, including president. Her work with the Chamber has been transformative and impactful. We want to say Thank You! The MRC is hosting a farewell reception and we hope you will stop by to say goodbye and celebrate her!

OPEN BOARD POSITION

The Chamber is accepting nominations for one open board position. Nominations will be open until our next Board Meeting on August 3. If interested, please send an email to MulvaneChamber@gmail.com expressing your interest with a brief paragraph about why you'd like to be on the board.

You must be an active Chamber member, attend monthly board meetings on the first Thursday of the month at 12 PM and collaborate with other members on committees and events. We look forward to hearing from you!

We are partnering with the Discovery Channel this July to motivate donors to dive in and help save lives around Shark Week! We’ll be thanking presenting donors in July with an officially licensed Shark Week T-shirt, while supplies last.

Business Card Display in the Office

We have a new business card display and I'd love to include more member business cards. Send me an email or stop by regular business hours to drop off a stack as well as any flyers.

Office Hours at the Chamber

Monday: 1 - 5 PM

Tuesday: 9 - 1 PM

Wednesday: 1 - 5 PM

Thursday: 9 - 1 PM

Friday: 9 - 1 PM

I am also available by appointment if you are unavailable during regular office hours.
