The Shop Small Saturday: Holiday Market is just a few weeks away and we are full! We have over 65 vendors registered and both gyms at the Mulvane Middle School will be full + we'll have several vendors outside. Check the facebook event page to browse the vendors!

The Mulvane Chamber of Commerce is looking for holiday decorators! The contest will run from Dec. 2-23. Decorate your business/house or yard to show your holiday spirit. Judges will pick their favorite displays and the public can vote for the People’s Choice winner via Facebook.

RULES:

• ***Entries accepted until 5:00 pm Wednesday, November 29th, 2023***
• Decorations must be in place by Saturday, December 2, 2023.
• Contestants will leave all lights on until 9:00 pm from December 1st thru December 25th, 2023
• Size or number of lights are not primary criteria.
• Judging will be based on originality, unique use of holiday theme, materials and space.
• Decorations can be on windows, buildings or yards & must be visible from the street.

Your home/business address will be listed on a contest map. Entries can only win one category.

Winners will be announced at Coffee Talk on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 for all categories!

Alzheimer's & Dementia Caregiver Support Group

Thursday, November 30 at 6 PM



Trained Alzheimer’s Association co-facilitators; Marsha Landis (Villa Maria, Inc. Marketing Director) and Kaylie Mistretta (Mulvane Senior Center Director), welcome caregivers, families and friends of those who are navigating through Alzheimer’s or dementia, to attend their monthly in-person support group. Meetings are from 6pm – 7pm at the Mulvane Senior Center on the last Thursday of each month. FREE Respite care is provided during the meeting time for those who may need it. They look forward to connecting with you!

Chamber member, Chris Landis with Mary Kay, is getting ready for another year of Adopt a Grandparent for Christmas! She still needs 60 more donations to make sure every resident receives a package.

She will be delivering goodies to Maria Court, Villa Maria, Homestead of Derby, Brookdale Derby and Derby Assisted Living this year. Each gift is $15, and they will receive Mary Kay Unscented Shea Hand Cream with a cute Christmas gift, and sweets!!
