From Your Chamber Director

I want to thank everyone who came out to Chamber After Hours this past Thursday! We had a great turnout and I enjoyed getting to know a few of you a little bit better.

As we head into August, we are gearing up for the Teacher Expo, Old Settlers and planning for our fall events. We have also been working on revamping our Chamber committees and we look forward to sharing more ways for you to get involved in the coming weeks. Don't forget to join us at the Chamber Board Meeting this Thursday at noon!

I also want to remind you that I am available by appointment most days. While I hold office hours, I know the construction and those times don't always make it easy to drop by. So please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to meet. I've gotten a lot of great feedback from several members in our meetings. Next week, I'll be sending out a survey to learn more about you and your business needs.

I want to thank of all the businesses that have signed up for a booth at the Teacher Expo. We still have spots available and this event is FREE for Chamber members. It's a great way to engage with your local community.

If you can't make it, but want to donate an item to be raffled for our teachers, please send me an email and I will arrange a time to pick that item up.

A big thank to our sponsors this year: The Mulvane Historical Museum, United Methodist Church, Shirts Plus, Brett Witt with Farm Bureau Financial Services, Set Free Dance Studios, Sue Wenger, Leasha Rutschman with OFG Financial, and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 136! Your sponsorship helps to provide lunch as well as raffle items for teachers!
