From Your Chamber Director

Fall is almost here and we are excited to welcome the season and prepare for three big events: Safe Treat Night, Shop Small Saturday and Downtown Christmas!

These events bring so much to our community and our local businesses. We invite you to get involved and participate; whether that means handing out candy, volunteering your time or joining in the celebrations.

There's a form below to let me know if you'll be participating in Safe Treat Night.

We're also excited to announce that this year's Shop Small Saturday will be held at the Mulvane Middle School. We are so grateful to USD 263 for donating that space. It means we will have room for more vendors and everyone will be in one central location. We know it will be a great event and will be sharing more details later this week about how to sign up to be a vendor.

Do you need a new Chamber decal for your business?

We sent several out last year, but we want to make sure all our members have one to display at their business. Click the button below to send me an email and I'll get one to you this week!

I need a decal!

There are so many exciting things happening at the Chamber and we are glad to have every one of you as a member. Please reach out at anytime - I'm here to help.

Thanks, Brittany Kruger

The Mulvane Optimist Club is very excited to invite everyone to come and have a great time! This is a big event! We had over 700 attendees this spring! You will want to come see what all the fuss is about!

At an Optimist Club Steak Feed you will be able to choose between two 16 ounce T-Bones or one 32 ounce sirloin and pair it with baked beans, baked potatoes, and French bread. Drinks include water, pop as well as beer. Don't forget to bring your ID.

Don't forget; You will need to bring your own platter (big enough to hold all the food), your own silverware, and a cup.

This event is limited those that are 12 and older.

Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door.

Steak Feed hours will be from 6pm until 9pm, although the gates will open at 4 for those that want to find a good spot to park.

The Mulvane Optimist Club uses the proceeds of these events to help take care of the youths in Mulvane. Scholarships are provided to students, money is donated to various programs, and there are free events planned at the parks and swimming pool.
