Sunday morning on the Graceworks Hill can be a very busy gathering place. Bible study classes, sound check for worship teams, welcome team members, greeting worship attenders, as well as the Bible study and activities of our youth and children, can create quite a stir. One often overlooked activity, which is of supreme importance, is the ministry of our prayer team. Every Sunday morning members gather to pray for God’s presence to be experienced in worship and needs to be met in the lives of GW members. Volunteers get together promptly at 10:00 AM. The group usually prays silently and/or out loud for about 15 minutes. All Graceworks members are invited to participate in this vital ministry leading up to our worship. The prayer ministry has met for several years in my office. With the addition of a Parent LIFE group meeting at 9, the prayer ministry is moved to meeting in a room in the front hallway. It is now designated as the PRAYER ROOM. Please consider joining this group this Sunday. No reservations necessary, just come pray!
Sunday, May 31st, we will be privileged to have a speaker from Gideon’s International share a testimony to the availability, power, and effectiveness of the Word of God. At the conclusion of the service, Graceworks members will be able to contribute toward the purchase of Bibles. Please consider this opportunity to share the Word by giving a monetary gift.
