Hartley & Parker Sales Division
is featuring BLACKENED American Whiskey.
| |
BLACKENED® is a blend of straight whiskeys finished in black brandy casks. The super-premium whiskey collaboration from master distiller Dave Pickerell and Metallica. A blend of hand-selected, well-aged North American bourbon and rye whiskeys, uniquely finished in black brandy casks and the earth-shattering music of Metallica.
Using our proprietary BLACK NOISE finishing process, each batch of whiskey is blasted with its very own Metallica playlist, curated by the band themselves. The low-frequency sound waves force the whiskey to penetrate deeper into the barrel, extracting more caramel, honey, and vanilla flavors from the wood. The result is a magnificently balanced whiskey, robust in flavor and ideal for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in a classic whiskey cocktail.
BLACKENED tastes of burnt caramel, oak, and honey on the nose, with honey, cinnamon, allspice, dark fruit, clove, and mint filling the palate. The finish is long and smooth, slightly creamy with hints of butterscotch taffy, maple, and honey.
|
Hartley & Parker Sales Division

"When given the opportunity to craft a new wine from this appellation, I took great care to honor and reflect Paso Robles’ unique character and soul. This wine is a thoughtful expression of an area I’ve always admired.” Winemaker, Tony Coltrin
Oberon Cabernet Sauvignon Irresistible aromas of rose petals and blueberry cobbler lead to ripe, supple silky tannins. Flavors of vibrant black cherry, candied blackberry, and red plum are complimented by notes of black currant and licorice, with a hint of coffee, dark chocolate and spice, all culminating into a lingering and delicious finish.
| Hartley & Parker's portfolio may include products that are not available through Martignetti Companies, Massachusetts and NNE. |

United Sales Division
is featuring Long Drink for the Long Weekend.
|
Long Drink is a top selling category of alcohol in Finland.
The roots of long drinks go back to the 1952 Summer Games in Finland, when the country of only 4 million people was still recovering from World War II. Concerned with how to serve drinks quickly enough to all the visitors, the government commissioned the creation of a revolutionary new liquor drink, and so the first long drinks were born.
Traditional, flawlessly natural and effortlessly smooth, the traditional flavor is the perfect introduction to the legendary, traditional Finnish Long Drink.
Zero, all the great taste, without the guilt. Long Drink Zero has no carbs or sugar ensuring that you can enjoy it without worry.
Cranberry, just for fun, switch the classic citrus flavor for cranberry.
Strong, for those looking for an extra kick, the Strong Long Drink is strong without the heavy taste.
|

International Overdose Awareness Day | |
International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died from overdose, and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind.
Overdose touches people and communities in many ways.
With the theme for IOAD 2023, “Recognizing those people who go unseen,” we honor the people whose lives have been altered by overdose. They are the family and friends grieving the loss of a loved one; workers in healthcare and support services extending strength and compassion; or spontaneous first responders who selflessly assume the role of lifesaver.
We would like to say to these people: #weseeyou. Theirs are the voices we should amplify, and their strength and experience should be held up as examples to us all. Too often, however, they are left to bear the burden of this crisis alone and in silence.
This year on August 31, let’s acknowledge and support the people in our communities who go unrecognized by raising awareness of the hidden impacts of overdose, promoting education of overdose response, and reaching out to politicians to make lasting, lifesaving policy changes.
