| Celebrating Our Team’s Contribution to the 2024 Restaurant Operators Leadership Conference | | | |
A huge thank you to the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) for selecting Martignetti Companies as the host for the 2024 Restaurant Operators Leadership Conference. The event was a tremendous success, bringing together restaurateurs, industry leaders, and experts for a day full of valuable insights, networking, and best practice sharing. While the MRA provided an outstanding lineup of speakers, it was the hard work and dedication of our internal Martignetti team that really made the event come to life.
First and foremost, we want to recognize Mary Lou Segreve, SVP, Administrative Operations, and her team for their incredible efforts in preparing the event space. From planning to execution, Mary Lou’s leadership, alongside the hard work of Tim Bruce, AVP, Marketing & Communications, Vera Webbe, Administrative Assistant, David Rice, Maintenance, and the warehouse team, ensured that everything ran smoothly. Their behind-the-scenes coordination was essential to the success of the event, and it’s because of their dedication that we were able to host such a seamless conference.
We also want to highlight the fantastic presentations from our team members. Victoria Bizzozero, Trade Marketing Manager, shared valuable insights on bar trends and how restaurant operators can best collaborate with our sales consultants and marketing teams to optimize their operations. Troy Clarke, Director of Mixology and Spirits Education, followed up with a session on bar design, highlighting how reimagining this often-overlooked area can drive profitability and enhance customer engagement. Brad Fichter, Corporate Wine Educator, and Dennis Gilligan, Corporate Fine Wine Director, wrapped up with a session on wine education, emphasizing the importance of a well-curated wine program to build customer loyalty and drive revenue. We’d also like to extend a special thank you to Nicole Olivier, VP, Excel Division, whose role as a board member for the MRA and her ongoing support of both the association and Martignetti Companies make a lasting impact.
In addition, we’d like to recognize Steve Gack, VP, e-Commerce, who represented Martignetti Exchange at our booth. Steve did an excellent job educating guests on the platform’s benefits, answering questions, and showing operators how Martignetti Exchange can streamline their processes and support their business growth. His hands-on approach was a key part of helping our customers get the most out of the tools we offer.
Finally, a big thank you to the MRA for bringing in such a stellar lineup of speakers, including Molly Hopper Sandrof, Travis Talbot, David Hyatt, Chip Romp, Chad Moutray, and Brian Connors. Their expertise and insights provided tremendous value to all who attended. The demonstration of Cecilia, the AI bartender, was a particular highlight, sparking lots of excitement and conversation.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work, passion, and teamwork that went into making the 2024 Restaurant Operators Leadership Conference a standout success. Your dedication and effort made this event one to remember, and we are grateful to be part of such an amazing team.

5 Tips for Navigating Healthier Choices During the Holiday | |
1. Start the day right with a healthy breakfast.
2. Make fruits and vegetables part of your holiday plate.
3. Remember to stay hydrated with water.
4. Take 10 before taking seconds. It takes a few minutes for your stomach’s "I’m getting full" signal to get to your brain.
5. Don’t go out with an empty tank. Before setting out for a holiday get together, eat something so you don’t arrive famished.
