Join us for a weekend of community service and personal development opportunities at the Islamic Center! With two volunteer opportunities and a conflict resolution workshop with Aziza Hasan taking place over the next couple of days, the Center is buzzing with ways to get involved.

Come join the fun tomorrow (Saturday) morning as volunteers help distribute groceries at our ICSC Food Pantry. The pantry is open every Saturday and helps provide 250 - 300 low-income Angelenos with fresh, healthy groceries every weekend. These services are also available free-of-charge to any ICSC community members in need of a little extra help. We request that volunteers arrive at 9:45 a.m. to help set-up before doors open to the public at 10:30 a.m. All ages welcome! 

Another opportunity to be of service will take place on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Union Rescue Mission (URM) on Skid Row. Each month, a group of dedicated ICSC volunteers meet up for Serve & Connect at the URM. Over the course of just a couple of hours they serve dinner service to the men, women, and children who are currently staying at the Mission.
