Free Bike Repair Station

A new bike repair station, courtesy of the Wilton Drive Improvement District, is now available on the corner of Wilton Drive and NE 21st Court at the City Hall/Hagen Park parking lot.

Opportunity for Input: Public Art Plan

We are seeking your input on a survey that will inform our new Public Art Plan. This major initiative, in partnership with the Broward County Cultural Division Public Art & Design Program, is part of our Strategic Plan and underscores our dedication to fostering a vibrant arts and culture community.


We will also be hosting a Public Art Policy Public Outreach Meeting on February 1, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hagen Park Community Center (2020 Wilton Drive).

Art Gallery 21 Presents "Figuratively Speaking, OUT LOUD!" Exhibit

Art Gallery 21 (600 NE 21st Court) invites you to enjoy its next exhibit, "Figuratively Speaking, OUT LOUD!," from January 20, 2024, through February 10, 2024, on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. You'll also have a chance to meet the artists on the opening night, January 20, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Upcoming Road Closure on Oakland Park Boulevard

Reminder: The Florida Department of Transportation will be closing a portion of Oakland Park Boulevard between Powerline Road and NW 21st Avenue from January 19 to January 23, 2024, while crews complete repairs to the South Florida Rail Corridor. Detours will be in place while the road is closed, please exercise caution and expect delays.

Don't Forget to Submit Your Women's History Month Nomination

The Community Affairs Advisory Board (CAAB) is accepting nominations for its 2024 Women's History Month Honoree to recognize a woman who exemplifes leadership and creativity in enhancing women's history here in the Island City.


To submit a nomination, complete the form at the link below or submit a paragraph (no more than 250 words) explaining why the individual or business you are nominating should be recognized for Women's History Month to community@wiltonmanors.com. Nominations must be received by January 31, 2024.


Nominations will be reviewed during the February 7, 2024, CAAB Meeting and the honoree will be recognized during the February 27, 2024, City Commission Meeting.

January 19, 2024, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.


Join your Island City neighbors as Hot Legs performs "Simply The Best: Tina Turner Tribute" beneath the stars at the first Live@Mickel concert of the season on January 19, 2024, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Mickel Park (2675 NW 7th Avenue). Food and beverages will be available for purchase, all you need to bring is a blanket and chair.

Secure Shredding Event

January 20, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.


The City’s solid waste, recycling, and household hazardous waste contractor, Waste Management, has contracted with Shred-It to provide a FREE secure and confidential shredding service on January 20, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the City Hall parking lot (2020 Wilton Drive).


Please note- you must be a Wilton Manors resident or business owner, and proof of residency or a business tax receipt is required.

Regular City Commission Meeting

January 23, 2024, at 7 p.m.


The upcoming City Commission Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall (2020 Wilton Drive).


If you are unable to attend and would like to submit a public comment, email it to publiccomment@wiltonmanors.com before the start of the meeting. Please include your name and address in the email. All comments submitted by email shall be, if read orally, three minutes or less. Public comments received by 6 p.m., before the start of the meeting, will be delivered to the Commission before the meeting and be part of the public record.

Transportation Master Plan Public Meetings

You may join city staff and representatives from the Broward MPO to learn about and provide input on the recommended improvements to sidewalks, bike paths, and roadways in the Island City during one of two public input meetings. Both meetings will be held at the Hagen Park Community Center (2020 Wilton Drive).
