Due to Hurricane Milton, Broward County is under a Tropical Storm Warning and a Flood Watch. Two to four inches of rain is expected through Thursday along with 25 to 35 mph winds, with gusts up to 50 mph. These winds may not be hurricane strength, but they can still cause damage to outdoor items like awnings and tree branches. Tornadoes are possible. We are most likely to be impacted Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning.
City Operations:
All city parks and the Richard C. Sullivan Library will be closed Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Do not place bulk trash items out ahead of schedule. If you have placed items in the swale for bulk pickup, please move them into your yard or home. Regular garbage collection will continue on schedule, but please be mindful to bring your bins in from the curb as soon as possible after collection is completed.
Circuit electric shuttle service suspensions are possible; updates will be shared in the Ride Circuit app.

Please secure any loose items on your property to prevent them from blowing in the wind and causing damage.
If you encounter a flooded road, seek an alternate route.
