The morning car line will have a bit more traffic.  Please be patient.  A staff member will come to your car and assist in getting your child.  If your child is in a car seat please have them unbuckled and ready when it is your turn.  We are doing the best we can to make sure this is all done in a timely manner and your cooperation with adhering to the time slots for each program will help.

Masks
Students ages 3 and older are required to wear a mask. Please send in a CLEAN mask each day. It is also recommended that your child has at least one extra mask in case one gets dirty.

Recess
Kindergarteners will go outside for recess weather permitting (20 degrees or above). Please dress your child accordingly. The children will be required to wear their masks for recess.

Kindergarten Breakfast & Lunch
We will start having breakfast for kindergarten on March 1. Students will be able to receive a Grab and Go breakfast to take to their room. If you would like to participate in the breakfast program please let your child’s teacher know. The hot lunch program will also start on March 1. You can find the lunch menu here. All students can receive a free lunch for the 2020-21 school year. Students will be required to order lunch in the morning. Teachers report lunch counts by 9:15 am.

Mrs. Schulte’s Counselor Corner

This month the kindergarten students are learning about being a good friend. We are reading the book Stick and Stone and learning a friendship pledge. Being a good friend means something similar to being a buddy as we talked about last month. Being kind with our words and actions, being helpful, including others in play, being caring, thoughtful, and honest are all ways to be a good friend.
