Warriors of the Week

RANDY S. - 6th grade WOW
The 6th grade teachers are excited to announce Randy S. as their first Warrior of the Week for the 2020/2021 school year. Randy has been all smiles when interacting with his peers and teachers. He has been prompt with his ELA and Math focus areas and has been doing very well with the Social Studies Kahoots. Randy has already shown he is ready to go above and beyond to be as successful as he can be. We are all proud of Randy!

ABIGAIL W. - 7th grade WOW
The 7th grade team is proud to award Abby W. the first Warrior of the Week! Abby has been super helpful during the first week by answering her classmates questions and sharing resources with them. Abby understands that remote learning activities take time to learn and she has been patient and helpful with her peers. She has been engaged with her classes and demonstrates a great ability to multitask. Abby has been going above and beyond what is expected. Thank you for starting the year on such a positive note!

MICHELLE P. - 8th grade WOW
The 8th grade team has selected Michelle P. for Warrior of the Week! Michelle P. has been a great addition to the 8th grade class. She is eager, responsive, works well with her new classmates, and has been exceptional with participation in our Google Meets. We look forward to getting to know Michelle more as we get further in our classes. Huge virtual hugs to Michelle for making a great start to the year.


QUINN B. - 9th grade WOW
The 9th grade team has selected Quinn B. for Warrior of the Week! Quinn has risen to the challenge of virtual learning. He is an active participant in his Google Meets by answering questions, commenting on others points and supporting other students. He is leading by example as to how we want students to interact with each other and teachers in the virtual classroom. Nice job Quinn!! 

DRAKE S. - 10th grade WOW
The 10th grade team would like to recognize Drake S. as our Warrior of the Week! Drake has been a standout student so far in English along with his other classes. Keep up the good work, Drake!  

SAM D. - 11th grade WOW
The 11th grade team would like to recognize Sam D. as our Warrior of the Week! Virtual learning is challenging for many students. Not being around other people is a big challenge for most of us. Sam D. has brought energy, character and positivity to his Google Meet participation this year. It takes a conscious effort to become involved in one's education and Sam is rising to the challenge! Way to go Sam!

COLBY R. - 12th grade WOW
The 12th grade team would like to recognize Colby R. for Warrior of the Week! Colby has been a team player during virtual learning and having Mrs. Atwood’s back when technology and links were not her friend! Keep up the great work, Colby!

1) Ask your child for their login information and login under their account.

2) Email your child’s mentor teacher and you will be provided with your own login information.

Returning Student Registration
An email was sent on 9/3/20 with the notification that the InfoSnap portal has been opened for updates. Be sure to complete all required sections by the first day of school. If you do not receive an email, you can login to your PowerSchool account and click “Returning Student Registration” to update information.

Heinen's Teaming Up for Education Program
Lewis F. Mayer MS and Fairview HS have teamed up with Heinen’s education program. When checking out simply mention either school to help us earn rewards for educational services.

Grades K-12: Launchpad

Click on your child's grade (or for HS, the course) - you will see weekly updates of work that should be done as well as any contact information. At this level, it is always good to have your child email their teacher asking questions or clarifying something about their work.

Fundraisers: Friends of the Fairview Park City Schools
FFPCS Sauced Fundraiser

The Friends of Fairview Park City Schools is partnering with Sauced Wood Fired Pizza to bring you make at home dinner kits. Included in your pizza kit are: 2 pizza doughs, sauce, cheese, pepperoni, 4 chocolate chip cookies, and flour to roll out your dough. This is a great go to dinner option that can be frozen for later use. Orders are due by October 1st. Pick up will be October 9th from 3-7 pm at 21820 Robinhood Ave. at Angie Cause's house. Pull up an we will run your order out to you with all Covid precautions considered. For questions email Angie @ angiekleincause@yahoo.com. Kits are $25 each. Place your order here.
