Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent teacher conferences will be held November 23rd and 24th. Please note that all conferences this year will be held by phone, so please include your preferred phone number when you sign up for a conference. Please click this LINK to select your child(s) teacher and time slot.
Remote Learning to begin Week of November 30
Next week (Nov. 23-27) is parent-teacher conferences (which will be nearly all through phone calls, Google Meet, or Zoom) and the Thanksgiving holiday. We will then begin remote teaching and learning on Monday, November 30th and will continue through the end of Winter Break.  We will monitor the numbers the last week of December and make a decision how to proceed forward from there.
Updated Attendance Procedures for MMS and FHS
While we are in FULL Remote Learning - if your child(ren) will not be able to log into their virtual classroom due to an appointment or not feeling well, please EMAIL Ms. Lockwood at jlockwood@fairview.k12.oh.us. You may still call and leave a message on the attendance line, however sending an email is the preferred method of communication during Full Remote Learning.

In addition - please remind your child(ren) that they must sign in to their classes each and every period so that attendance can be taken. Failure to do so will result in being marked absent for that class period.

Thank you for your cooperation!
FHS/MMS School Fees
School fees for the 2020-2021 School Year have been applied to your student(s) PowerSchool Account. If you have any questions regarding this or need to make payment arrangements please contact Mrs. Tieri at atieri@fairview.k12.oh.us.
Athletic Fees
Pay to Participate fees are crucial to our operating budget in the athletic department, this year more than ever as our ticket sales have taken a big hit due to COVID restrictions. Pay to Participate and ticket sales make up a vast majority of the budget we need to operate - so it is imperative that we collect these each season and each year.

Fees are $90 for High School athletics and $60 for Middle School athletics and can be paid via check made out to Fairview Park City Schools OR on the PayForIt portal through your student's PowerSchool account. If you have any questions please contact Joe Dianetti at jdianetti@fairview.k12.oh.us. Payment arrangements can be made by reaching out to Anna Tieri at atieri@fairview.k12.oh.us.
Work Permits
While our offices are closed during remote learning, work permit applications can still be processed. Please complete the application and email it to Mrs. Tieri at atieri@fairview.k12.oh.us. Any questions - please email or call Mrs. Tieri at 440.754.3613
Attention High School Students taking the PSAT

Warriors of the Month
MAYER MIDDLE SCHOOL

Lily H.

8th Grade Student Lily H. has been selected as the November Warrior of the Month for Lewis F. Mayer Middle School!
Lily has done an amazing job so far this year! Even being fully remote, Lily is engaged in discussions, focused and completes all her work on time. She has a quirky sense of humor that is endearing, and something that just adds to our already creative class! She is submitting high quality work in a timely manner!. Lily frequently gives feedback that is easily observed by nodding her head, giving thumbs up, and/or commenting in the chat. Lily has also been a fantastic student in Science and has been really impressing her teacher daily. Lily thought outside the box for her first science project of the year. Lily used Minecraft to build a world that explains all of the Earth processes that we are discussing in class. Every time she turns in a new video of her world she is creating, I am blown away. Keep up the great effort, Lily!!

Attention Parents of Students Taking College Classes:
Please remind your student to check with Mrs. Dill in the FHS Library before purchasing any books for CCP classes next semester. The FHS Library has MANY print textbooks. Let’s save shelf space, as well as district money, by borrowing from the FHS Library collection, if possible. Note: If an eBook is required, that will need to be purchased as those are one-time use charges.
