The morning car line will have a bit more traffic. Please be patient. A staff member will come to your car and assist in getting your child. If your child is in a car seat please have them unbuckled and ready when it is your turn. We are doing the best we can to make sure this is all done in a timely manner and your cooperation with adhering to the time slots for each program will help.

Kindergarten Breakfast & Lunch
We will start having breakfast for kindergarten on March 1. Students will be able to receive a Grab and Go breakfast to take to their room. If you would like to participate in the breakfast program please let your child’s teacher know. The hot lunch program will also start on March 1. You can find the lunch menus here. All students can receive a free lunch for the 2020-21 school year. Students will be required to order lunch in the morning. Teachers report lunch counts by 9:15 a.m.

Resources For Talking to Kids About Difficult Current Events

This next kindergarten lesson for in-person students is reviewing and re-teaching expected and unexpected behaviors in the classroom. We read a book and students got a chance to act out behaviors as their classmates decided if they were expected and unexpected. Remote students read the book, I Can Handle It and we talked about how helpful vs. unhelpful ways to handle uncomfortable feelings and situations. We practiced a few breathing strategies and reviewed coping skills. All kindergarten students will be continuously learning about coping strategies and breathing techniques throughout the year and as they move forward through school. Below are a few strategies to practice at home!
