Religious education plays a crucial role in instilling a love for the Church in children, fostering an environment where they can attend services with joy. While children may not comprehend all the rituals, they keenly observe and embrace the grace of God as demonstrated by adults. Depending on their age, children's attention span can be a challenge for a child to participate in the Liturgy, and sometimes they look for distraction. Our Church has established a designated space for our youngest parishioners, with arts and crafts to provide a constructive outlet. We express gratitude to parents who contribute materials for the children's enjoyment. We kindly request that you refrain from bringing items like glitter and glue that are prone to spillage. Father Aleksandar deeply appreciates the enthusiastic participation of numerous children in the Liturgy but is not overjoyed with extensive vacuuming afterward.

Једна од главних сврха религиозног образовања је та да деца заволе Цркву, тако да би увек могла да присуствују Богослужењима са пријатним осећањем. Деца обично само посматрају шта одрасли раде, можда не разумеју увек све обреде али и те како прихватају благодат Божију. Дечији распон пажње, зависно од узраста, зна да представља изазов да дете учествује у Литургији, и понекад траже другу занимацију. У нашој цркви имамо столић за наше најмлађе парохијане, где могу да скрену пажњу бојицама и цртежима. Захвални смо свим родитељима који оставе материјал са којим се деца могу забавити. Једино желимо да вас замолимо да, убудуће, не доносите шљокице, лепило, или други материјал који се лако расипа. Отац Александар је пресрећан када види велики број деце који узму учешћа на Литургији, али нема толико времена да усисава.

During the Epiphany celebration on January 19 each year, the Serbian Orthodox Church has a service of the Great Consecration of water. From this day forward, Fr. Aleksandar traditionally visits families in their homes for a yearly house blessing.

Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

И одмах прогледа, и пође за Њим хвалећи Бога. И сви људи који видеше хваљаху Бога.
