Ако упитате многе људе, зашто не иду у цркву на молитву, обично ће вам одговорити: НЕМАМ ВРЕМЕНА, морам да радим!

Погледајте те људе, који само раде и не иду у цркву, уздајући се само у свој рад, и сравните их са онима који деле време на рад и на молитву, и брзо ћете се уверити, да су ови други имућнији и, што је главно, задовољнији.

Прича се за два суседа кројача, како су били неједнаки и по раду, и по молитви, и по имању и задовољству. Један од њих је имао велику породицу, а други је био самац. 

Онај први имао је обичај да свако јутро иде у цркву на молитву, а овај самац никад није ишао у цркву. Онај први не само да је мање радио, него је био и невештији мајстор од овог другог. И онај је имао свега задовољно, а овај је оскудевао.

Упита овај онога, како то да он има свега, мада ради мање од њега. А онај богомољац одговори да он сваки дан иде у цркву, и уз пут налази изгубљено злато, па позове и свог суседа самца, да пође са њим на молитву, па ће делити нађено злато.

И оба суседа почну редовно ићи у цркву, и убрзо се оба изједначе у изобиљу и задовољству. Наравно, никакво злато нису они налазили на путу, али је благослов Божији умножавао обиље правим богомољцима.

Онима који ишту најпре Царства Божија и правде Његове, Бог додаје и умножава све остало што им је нужно за телесни живот.

If you ask many people why they don't go to church to pray, they usually answer, "I DON'T HAVE TIME; I have to work!"

Look at those who only work and do not attend church, trusting only in their work. Compare them with those who divide their time between work and prayer. Quickly, it is clear the latter are wealthier and more importantly, satisfied.

There is a story about two neighbors both of whom are tailors, and how they were unequal in terms of work, prayer, property, and satisfaction.

One of them had a large family while the other was single. The first one would go to church every morning to pray, but the single man never went to church. The first one worked less and was a less skilled craftsman than the second. Yet, he had everything to his satisfaction while the other was unfulfilled.

The single man asked his neighbor how it is that he has everything, even though he works less. And the worshipper answered that he goes to church every day, and along the way, he finds lost gold. So, he invites his single neighbor to go with him to prayer, and he will share the found gold.

Both neighbors start going to church regularly, and soon both are equal in abundance and contentment. Of course, they never came across any gold on the way, but God's blessing made a lot possible for true worshippers.

To those who seek the Kingdom of God and His justice, God adds and multiplies all the necessities in life.

Annual dues for the program will be as follows, per year:

* Free for children age 4-6

* $400 per child age 7+

* $550 for two children age 8+ per family

* $700 for three or more children age 8+ per family

The 5K run/1-mile walk “Run Like Kat” Road Race is an opportunity to bring our community together to remember Katarina “Kat” Boskovic, honor her legacy and celebrate her many incredible, positive qualities. 

Among these attributes, Kat was incredibly kind, inclusive, funny and had a unique ability to always see the good in people. 

While the sadness and impact of her loss remain, the Kat Boskovic Memorial Fund will allow Kat’s legacy also to remain with us and positively impact our community. 

Kat was a superb student athlete, mentor and youth track coach, yet above all, she adored her family and was a loving, loyal and genuine friend who touched so many lives.

While we should all aspire to Be Like Kat, let’s honor her on Friday, 11/25 and together Run Like Kat!

New Luncheon Pricing

Dear all, the Kolo sisters are increasing the suggested price of our Sunday Luncheons after more than a decade.

Suggested donation is $15 for adults, $10 for Seniors and students, and free for children under 12. Of course, any amount is much appreciated.

А она приступивши поклони Му се говорећи: Господе помози ми! А Он одговарајући рече: Није добро узети од деце хлеб и бацити псима. А она рече: Да, Господе, али и пси једу од мрва што падају с трпезе њихових господара. Тада одговори Исус, и рече јој: О жено! Велика је вера твоја; нека ти буде како хоћеш. И оздрави кћи њена од оног часа.
