Below are a variety of actions, vigils, protests, organizations, whose common goal is to support and protect immigrants. Consider participating as part of your spiritual preparation for Christmas and beyond into the New Year!
ATTEND WEEKLY EVENTS:
WEDNESDAYS, 11am-1pm: Bearing Witness Weekly Vigil/Protest Burlington ICE Center, 1000 District Ave., Burlington (Parking in Macy's overflow parking)
THURSDAYS, 11am-1pm: Justice 4 All Thursdays Burlington ICE Center (same as above)

"I was a stranger and you invited me in." Matthew 25:35 In the past week, you may have noticed a large sign adjacent. to the nativity plus colorful yard signs planted in the front lawn. The smaller signs represent the same scripture in 16 different languages. In the midst of the dehumanizing treatment of our immigrant brothers and sisters, participants involved in the social justice initiative wanted to emphasize a message of Welcome and Peace, especially in light of the immigrant journey encapsulated in the nativity of Jesus
