Hello Church!
I bet you've noticed how our Sunday School has grown over the past few months! We really appreciate all of the love and support you have for these children and their families.
I have an 'ask' for you. We have such a super team, but we need more people to help fill in when folks have other commitments, or just to give them time to be at the church service. Are you able to help out once a month in any of the following capacities?
:1. Sunday School Assistant:
Duties: Place snacks in the basket and fill a pitcher of water, Welcome children, interact with them as they create or play during 'free time" after our Godly Play story. Lots of smiles and joy guaranteed and a great opportunity for the kids of our church to feel cared for by their church family.
2. Childcare/Nursery Room:
Duties: Caring for our littlest members (under age 3) in our nursery room. We typically have just one little guy right now, but having childcare allows for his family to attend church, so we are committed to providing this service. Kelly Bourgeois has been doing this every week (and she is awesome!) but it would be nice to get someone willing to switch off once or twice a month (could be more than one person!) so that she can get to the service.
