Movie Night - Tuesday, July 7, 6 pm

The Coffee and Conversations group invites you to our end of year movie screening of Remarkably Bright Creatures. In the 2026 film, elderly cleaner Tova Sullivan (played by Sally Field) takes the young drifter Cameron under her wing, with their deepening connection being observed and solidified by a giant Pacific Octopus!

Themes of aging, grief, and hope. May not be advisable (or hold interest) for kids under 12.

Rev. Teri Motley is pictured below with Community Ministers Amanda Grant Rose and Rev. Holly Brauner. Rev. Teri will be our bridge minister this summer, as the Transition Team seeks an Interim Minister.

Patty Clark, Director of Music Ministries, is taking some time away this summer, starting on July 12. Filling in for her on July 12 will be Susan Parker Adams. Welcome back, Susan!

Announcing Women's Retreat - September 26th in Nahant

Hi All, we are bringing back a cherished tradition for women of the church....the retreat. We will gather at the Nahant Village Church on Saturday, September 26th from 10 am to 4 pm for a special program, to be determined! Stay tuned for further details, and/or contact Rev. Holly Brauner if you want advance information. Great for new people in the church, and for those who have been around a while. We can promise interesting discussions, time for relaxation and reflection, great food, fun, and fellowship!

Al-Anon is an organization that offers experience, strength and hope to families who are

struggling with alcoholism and addiction. It is a very safe place to share the challenges of

difficult family situations. We at Al-Anon are very grateful to the First Church of Swampscott which has offered us space to hold our meetings, as below:

Tuesday nights at 7:30

Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in the library

Thursdays at noon in the library
