Office Closed
We wish you a very happy Fourth of July! As we celebrate independence, we will close the church office on Monday, July 4. We will reopen on Tuesday, July 5. Group meetings that take place on campus on Mondays will continue to meet as scheduled. Please join us in a prayer for our country: O God, our nation is in your hands. Grant us the courage and capacity to bring about our founders' hope for freedom for all people. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Each Sunday during the summer, after the 9AM service, there will be a forum. From Simpler Living to Servant Leadership to Medieval Manuscripts, we are happy to present topics to appeal to your intellectual and spiritual curiosity!

St. Bart's Golf Social
Saturday, July 23 at Oaks North Golf Course. 8:30AM tee time for 18 holes. 10AM tee time for 9 holes. 11:30AM Lunch. Join us for lunch even if you don't play. $58 for 18 holes and lunch. $42 for 9 holes and lunch and $13 for lunch only. The last day to signup is July 10. The Golf Course is located at 12602 Oaks North Drive; take Pomerado Road north past Rancho Bernardo Drive; turn right at the second stop light and go about 150 yards with a dogleg left into the parking lot. Education for Ministry
The Education for Ministry (EfM) program develops an informed and knowledgeable laity through a series of four one-year seminars. A small group seminar is the nucleus of the EfM program (maximum of 12 participants plus one or two mentors). Likened to the original house churches of the first century, our groups conduct all four years concurrently in the same seminar. In year one, participants' academic study focuses on the Hebrew Bible; year two on the New Testament; year three is church history; year four wraps it all together with theology. Learn more.
