Set Apart to Serve is emphasis working to incorporate the recruitment of future Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod church workers into the denominational culture. A range of resources now exists to assist with encouraging LCMS members to enter training for church work. A selection of these resources are linked to the Ohio District website HERE.

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Ohio District office will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28. Let us all give praise and thanks to God for His abundance of grace and blessings!

We Care Toy Drive takes place at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, 27993 Detroit Road, Westlake, Ohio over Thanksgiving Weekend - November 28-30. Volunteer or bring a donation! 

Breath of Heaven - Live Nativity takes place at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 15617 Mason Road, Vermilion, Ohio on Friday, December 13 from 4:00-8:00 PM and Saturday, December 14 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Enjoy complimentary refreshments after this FREE event. Bring a non-perishable food item to donate to those in need. SEE FLYER

Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary (CLTS) in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada will be hosting a “Preaching Retreat” on the topic of Lent, January 19-20, 2026.
