CONGREGATION STATISTICS AND LAY LEADER UPDATE

All congregations should have received an email recently regarding the end of the year LCMS 2023 Statistics and Lay Leader Update. The information is submitted through LISN which is found here: https://lc.lcms.org/. PLEASE NOTE: You will use the same login information that you used last year to register your presidential voters, not your login that you used for statistics in the past. If you cannot remember the username and/or password you created for your congregation last year, follow the on-screen helps on the login page to recover your login credentials. If you would like a blank form emailed to you, contact Cheryl Ohradzansky at [email protected], or call 440-235-2297 x 115.

Congregational News & Events

Katharina’s Closet is a new ministry of Trinity-Warren that serves women and families in need, providing diapers, wipes, and baby clothing to people in their community. Currently they are collecting monetary donations, diapers, wipes, and infant and toddler clothes for this ministry. March 2024 marks the beginning of the donation kick-off to fill the closet with two donation drop-off days in March: Mondays the 4th and 18th from 4:30-6:30 PM at the donation area in the back of the church building. Once their closet fills-up, donations will continue to be collected on the first Monday of each month starting in April 2024. Contact Rev. Wacker at 330-647-6402 or [email protected] for questions about donating or volunteer opportunities. Check out Katharina’s Closet on Facebook as well.  SEE FLYER

Stewardship Ministry

Stewardship is a constant struggle. Human beings were created in the image of God to be stewards of everything the Lord has made (Gen. 1:26–28). Read more in this Stewardship feature entitled, “When Stewards Self-Sabotage.”

LCMS

Registration is now open to volunteers who wish to participate in an LCMS Servant Event, providing youth with opportunities to serve their communities, develop skills and relationships, and display God’s mercy to their neighbors through service projects. READ MORE

Lutheran Church Extension Fund

The Ohio District LCMS and The Lutheran Church Extension Fund are working together to help college students find LCMS congregations in their vicinity. Refer a student, and a nearby congregation will reach out to them and invite them to attend church, Bible study, or events. LCMS organizations can also apply for grants to establish or enhance a college campus ministry. LEARN MORE.
