April 1, 2019
From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,
Well, our third quarter is complete! It is hard to imagine the end of the year is just around the corner! Report cards will be coming home on Friday, April 5th. Included will be the calendar for the 2019-20 school year along with a letter explaining a few changes that will be taking place in regard to days vs. minutes of instruction and the school day.

With the closing of St. Paul School this Fall, there have been questions regarding busing boundaries being widened. I will be meeting with the Archdiocese and the other Catholic Schools involved in this process. We have applied for an extension from the public schools and bus companies to present our proposal. I will keep you informed as to any decisions that have been made. Unfortunately, this can be a slow process and a decision may not be made for next school year.

April is Tornado Awareness Month. We will be practicing a tornado drill later this week.

Also, k eep the Coins for a Cure coming! As of today, the standings are:  1st place = grade 6, 2nd place = 3K, 3rd place = grade 4.  As a bonus push for this worthwhile cause, we will offer a $1 Out-of-Uniform Day this Friday, April 5.  Students who bring in $1 for Coins for a Cure may dress out of uniform!  We will continue to collect coins through next week!
