Worship on Sunday

We continue in our Epiphany observation by considering the call of the first disciples, according to the Gospel of John.

This Sunday, our scripture will be John 1:35-46. Please invite someone you care about to join you in our time of worship.

LAST CALL FOR SATURDAY CIRCLE SIGNUP!

We had a terrific group of folks for our Circle Workshop last Saturday. We considered how Circles are a meeting format, a philosophy, and a spiritual practice.

Due to the positive reception and amount of interest, we'll "Gather Round" again this Saturday, Jan. 17. We'll consider core values and guidelines for our time together, as well share stories, thoughts, ideas, etc., in Circle.

All are welcome to the Circle, whether you attended the workshop or not. Please sign up by sending an e-mail by Thursday to

LET'S WEAR OUR NAME TAGS!

As an act of hospitality and fellowship, let's remember to wear our name tags in worship and during coffee hour. This is a wonderful way to make people feel welcome, and makes it less awkward for everyone if a name is forgotten -- it happens to the best of us!

If you don't have a name tag, please contact the church office and one will be made for you.

RANDOLPH REFUEL

Students in the Randolph School community are excited to partner with the RTCC Culinary Program and local community members to provide a free hot meal served out of a food truck for individuals and families in need. This initiative is rooted in community care, dignity, and access to nourishing food for all. Our goal is to create a consistent, stigma-free space where community members feel welcomed, supported, and respected.

Hot meals will be served on Tuesdays: at the Randolph Food Shelf from 12 to 1:30 Tuesdays.

DRIVERS NEEDED!

Wanted....drivers for Connie Chamberlin. She resides at Joslyn House in Randolph, and would love to get to church, She needs assistance with her walker and a strong arm to help her in and out of a car. Please contact the church office if this is a request you could help with.

If we have a few volunteers it could be just a once a month loving way to help provide a real gift to Connie.

KEEP YOUR PRAYER LIST VISIBLE

Here is a way to keep the folks who are on our prayer list in our hearts and minds: Cut the list out from the bulletin or write the names down on a piece of paper and post the list somewhere you will see it each day. Take a moment to think of or say a prayer for those on the list. Think of the cloud of prayers that will surround each recipient if we all do that!

IN OUR PRAYERS

Pat Webster, who received good news from medical lab tests recently.

Our music coordinator, Christine Masaba-Meagher, who continues to recover from throat surgery.

Eric Kraus, for a medical procedure around Christmas time.

Marty Strange, for health issues.

Carol Hodgkin, for health issues.

Peter Wells' friend, Henry, for a medical situation.

Perry Kacik, for a medical procedure.

Loved ones of Renee Good in Minneapolis.

The people of Venezuela.

The city of Minneapolis and all communities adversely impacted by ICE.

The global situation of unrest.

Continued prayers for Ralph Ward; Pastor Kim's son, Patrick; Ann Aiken’s friend Lee; Ashley Barrow; David Atkinson; and all our dear friends at Menig: Ruth, Grace, Marge, Ed, and Mary and Nancy.

CHURCH OFFICE HOURS

Office hours for the church are:

Wednesdays: 9:30am-2pm

Fridays: 9:30am-2pm

During those hours, the side door (near the kitchen) will be unlocked, and one of the staff will be in the office.

While our minister always welcomes a pop-in visit, to ensure she'll be there and available, it's always a good idea to call ahead or make an appointment by e-mailing her at bethanypastoramy@gmail.com.
