Library Resources
Are you looking for ideas on how to encourage some recreational reading with your student?  MS/HS Librarian, Mrs. Dill, has collected some online resources and posted them on the FHS/MMS Library home page.

Access this list on the  FHS/MMS Library page.  Scroll down to the " In This Together Ohio" logo.  The link is in the text to the right.  She has MS and HS authors, illustration lessons, reading suggestions, story and poetry starters, web comics... and will add more as she finds them.

While on the FHS/MMS Library page, check out Book Talk under the Book/Ebooks tab.  Mrs. Dill has written reviews of many MS and HS books.  Be sure to click the "Previous" link at the bottom of the page to see more reviews and recorded book talk recommendations.

Additionally, if students need to download the OverDrive app to their device to be able to use digital content from Cuyahoga County Public Library, they should go here  to get Libby, the newest app.  Directions are very clear.

May you all find some comfort in a good book during this stressful time.
Family and Community Engagement

Hello Fairview Park Families!

I hope this newsletter finds everyone in your family healthy and happy! We can do this!  We had some parent Zoom meetings this week that were a great way for us (the district) to see how parents and students are doing. We understand what the parents are going through and we are trying everything we can to support you!  We will have some more of these meetings in the future.  If there is anything you can think of that we can do to help, please let me know!

The Counselor Advantage Newsletter is full of resources and ideas.  If you did not see it, you can view it here

Looking for a craft idea for your family?  How about making cards for our:

Fairview Park Fire department
Fairview Park Police department
Fairview Park City - Service Department, Mayor's Office, etc.
Cleveland Clinic - Nurses and Doctors

I will be putting bags outside of FHS main entrance and GS main entrance for each group.  Let's fill those bags!

Stay healthy and happy! Parents, take care of yourself!
