As we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome in the exciting possibilities of 2025, we want to extend a warm and hearty New Year to you and those you hold dear! We hope this new year finds you bursting with enthusiasm and energy…ready to tackle whatever challenges (and joy-filled surprises) that may come your way.
This year, the Orion Area Chamber is celebrating our 75th year of serving the business community. Our members are the heart and soul of Orion and your creativity, resiliency and wit have truly inspired us to dedicate this seventy fifth year to work even more vigorously to ensure your success and prosperity.
Today, the Orion Area Chamber is the largest non-profit organization in Orion Township fostering, promoting, and uniting small businesses. We work diligently on creating a welcoming and energetic environment in which businesses can strengthen and flourish!
Our Chamber staff, board of directors, and committee members are laser-focused and determined to help professionals grow, learn, and build long lasting partnerships – uniting leaders, influencers, and members.
We would like to thank our extraordinary 2024 Board Chairwoman, Angela DelPup, MBA, Director of Business Operations, Henry Ford Health Rochester Hospital. Angie has led the Chamber with grace and professionalism and with her strategic guidance, strong leadership, mentorship, and thoughtful reasoning, the Chamber grew in membership (72 new members), increased our visibility by moving our office to a premier location in downtown Lake Orion, hosted a record-number of successful events and programs, and increased member attendance and engagement.
A heartfelt thanks to Angela for her unwavering dedication to the Orion Area Chamber business community.
Congratulations to our 2025 incoming Chair, Theresa Doan, Director of Social Responsibility, Genisys Credit Union, for leading the way forward as it’s going to be an event-filled stellar year! Plans are shaping up to be another record-breaking year of serving and promoting our Orion Area businesses! Save the dates for our New Office Open House and Ribbon Cutting on February 13th and our 75th Anniversary Celebration on June 17th.
