What a BOO-tiful day for the Boo Bash & Medals Day!
The Orion Area Chamber Team had a spooktacular time celebrating with the players and their families at the Miracle League of North Oakland’s Annual Boo Bash & Medals Day. We enjoyed Chamber weather, sweet treats, hot dogs and so many happy faces, creating a wonderful day of community fun!!! Congratulations to Susie Glasgow and her amazing team for organizing this heartwarming day. We love supporting the Miracle League every year and seeing so many of our members participate made the celebration even sweeter!
A special thank-you to Genisys Credit Union for providing the Ring Pops once again (everyone deserves a diamond)! Participating Chamber Members included Golling Buick GMC, AU Foundation, Red Lantern Dog Training , and Green Hippo Gifts. Thank you for creating such a memorable and festive day for the players.
We are grateful for our Chamber volunteers Nevine Rizk of Mobile Notary of Oakland and Judy Pope for helping Joyce distribute candy and spread Halloween cheer.

Great connections have a way of making the whole day brighter—our Chamber members brought the sunshine on Tuesday!
The Bagels & Brew...Morning Mixer at Golling Buick GMC was buzzing with an enthusiastic crowd, lively conversations, and the kind of energy that gets your day moving in the right direction. There’s something special about starting your morning with fellow Chamber members—sharing ideas, discovering opportunities, and building relationships that grow beyond a single conversation. Add bagels and coffee, and you’ve got a recipe for a wonderful, productive day!
A heartfelt thank-you to Golling Buick GMC for graciously hosting AND generously sponsoring this event. Your hospitality gave our business community a welcoming place to connect!
We also mixed in a little holiday cheer as we shared the excitement and good news surrounding the Holly Jolly Folly and the Orion Lighted Parade.

The Original Owners Are Back with Grace Senior Living of Lake Orion
Lake Orion, Michigan -- November 3, 2026
The founders of Grace Senior Living will return as the owner and operator of Mariella of Lake Orion, with the transition expected on or about November 20, 2026. At that time, the community will become Grace Senior Living of Lake Orion.
| | |
Grace is a small, family-owned organization with local roots in the greater Lake Orionand Oxford communities. It is especially meaningful to the original owners to return to the community they originally founded, built and operated. The current leadership and team members will remain in place.
