Robotic Rehab & Relief Rebrands as Thera Performance Lab:
A New Name Built on Hunting the Cause
Lake Orion performance center sharpens its identity around a singular mission: hunt the cause, restore movement, and keep people doing what they love.
LAKE ORION, Mich. — June 2026 — Robotic Rehab & Relief, the direct-access performance physical therapy center serving Lake Orion and the surrounding Oakland County communities, has officially rebranded as Thera Performance Lab (TPL).
The new name reflects what the practice has always been built around: helping people perform at their peak in life and sport by finding the root cause of pain, tightness and movement restriction rather than simply treating symptoms where they appear.
"We have never been a traditional clinic, and we never wanted to be," said Tim Washburn, Co-Founder of Thera Performance Lab. "The rebrand to Thera Performance Lab is really about clarity. We want people to understand exactly what we do the moment they hear our name. We hunt what is causing the problem. We do not just treat where it hurts. Most often the source of your issue is not where you are feeling it.”
The name THERA is rooted in the ancient Greek word θήρα, meaning "the hunt." It speaks directly to the methodology behind every Complete Kinetic Chain Assessment and personalized session.
