As part of National Association of REALTORS® Transforming Neighborhoods program, the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership) and St. Louis REALTORS® hosted members of the Counselors of Real Estate® (CRE) Consulting Corps to explore economic development opportunities in Spanish Lake, MO, ahead of the Saint Louis Zoo WildCare Park opening in 2027.
The 425-acre WildCare Park, a world-class safari and conservation center near the Mississippi–Missouri River confluence, is projected to generate over $660 million in regional economic impact between 2024 and 2034.
Funded by the National Association of REALTORS®, the Transforming Neighborhoods program supports identifying growth opportunities in areas affected by significant developments, such as WildCare Park.
From Oct. 13–15, the CRE team met with local officials, planners, business and community leaders to assess ways to strengthen Spanish Lake.
