Nearly $40,000 Raised
In November, on Giving Tuesday, so many of you generously gave to The Carlo Cherubino Memorial Fund. The outpouring of gratitude and love for Carlo was a beautiful tribute to his memory. Holy Names was able to raise nearly $40,000 in his honor, and establish an ongoing fund in his name.

Students Tour Italy
It was an Easter Break trip to remember. Our student travelers visited may spots, including:
Venice: Students’ tour included the Doge Palace, gondola rides, gelato, and immersing themselves in Venetian culture!
Florence: Visit included the beautiful Duomo, Michelangelo’s David, the Ponte Vecchio, and many, many gelato shops!
Also stopped in Orvieto to visit the duomo and have lunch. In Rome, visited St. Peter’s Basilica, Sistine Chapel and the Coliseum.
The group also attended a beautiful mass Easter Sunday and received Pope Francis' final papal blessing.

Prayer Service Honors Pope Francis
A special prayer service led by AHN's Theology Department was held on Thursday as AHN joined the global Church in mourning the passing of Pope Francis. Students were educated on Francis' life and legacy.
Pope Francis’ papacy was marked by a call to mercy, justice, and care for creation—values that deeply align with the Corporate Stands of the Sisters of the Holy Names. His commitment to the poor, to the dignity of all people, and to ecological responsibility inspired our shared mission to form young people of conscience, compassion, and competence. His funeral is scheduled for 4 a.m. EDT on Saturday.
May we continue to carry his legacy forward in the way we live, learn, and love each day.

Prayer Service Commemorates Earth Day
This year's Earth Day theme was OUR POWER, OUR PLANET, calling for everyone to unite around renewable energy in order to triple clean electricity by 2030.
A prayer service was held Tuesday morning helping educate students on making smart energy choices for their families.

Checkmate!
Congratulations to Mr. Patton, who was officially crowned as champion of AHN's inaugural faculty chess tournament.
Students were able to purchase raffle tickets to pick their winner (Patton, Ladouceur, Allen, or Franzini). Thanks to their contributions, three new chess boards have been procured for the Chess Club.
We hope Mr. Patton enjoys his reign atop the leaderboard, which, according to Mrs. Ladouceur, "will be short-lived."
